Blueberry & Banana French Toast loaf

Ingredients


  • 1 banana
  • 1 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


The perfect breakfast for your toddler! This French toast loaf is always a winner in our house.


HOW TO MAKE THEM


Step One - Cut your bread into small squares.


Step Two- layer half of the bread into a small baking dish, covering the base of the dish.


Step three - Sprinkle over half of your blueberries


Step Four - Blend the banana, egg, milk, cinnamon & vanilla together in a blender. (or by hand)


Step Five - Pour half of the mixture over the bread & berries.


Step Six - Layer over the rest of your bread squares & top with blueberries.


Step Seven - Pour over the remaining mixture and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.


Step Eight - Bake in the oven at 180 degrees C for around 10 minutes or until golden on top.


STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS


Fridge - Store in an air tight container inside the fridge for up to 3 days.
