Chilli Con Carne

Ingredients


  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 3 garlic Cloves
  • 1 Beef stock cube
  • 2 tbsp Chilli Powder (We use mild)
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 Tin red Kidney beans
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 500g Minced Beef



HOW TO MAKE THEM


Step One - Add your Mince to a frying Pan over medium heat.


Step Two- Prepare your vegetable, Dice onions & peppers and very finely chop your tomatoes & garlic.


Step three - Add onions & peppers to the pan with your mince.


Step Four - Once the mince is cooked drain off most of the oil and return it to the stove.


Step Five - Dissolve your stock cube in 200ml of boiling water, mix in the tomato puree & add to the pan.


Step Six - Add your tomatoes & all seasoning to the pan, leave to simmer for a few minutes before adding in your kidney beans.


Step Seven - Leave to cook on a low heat for around 20 minutes.



Serve With White Rice & Top With Cheese!
